What is a FSIS account?A FSIS user account allows a user to authenticate to system services and resources and be granted authorization to access them.
Why do I need to submit the Enrollment Request?Submitting an enrollment request allows an administrator to verify that you are an authorized user, and assign you a role in FSIS applications that corresponds to your position.
How fast will my Enrollment Request be processed?Processing speed will vary based on upon your administrator's availability. In most cases, it takes from 30 minutes to 1-2 days.
How do I change my request if I already submitted it?To change your enrollment request, go to phis.fsis.usda.gov and provide your credentials to the USDA eAuthentication System if asked. You will be directed to the Enrollment Request Summary. Click Edit and you will be able to make changes to your request and resubmit it.
Why was my enrollment request rejected?Your request may be rejected if you enter an incorrect organization or account type. Verify your information and resubmit, or contact your administrator for further instructions.
What should I do if I have a FSIS account, but it is inactive or has no roles?If you already have a FSIS account, you can submit a Change Request from your Profile page (click My Profile menu item on the top menu) or contact your administrator.
